R.A. Daunton: An Introduction.

Hello, and welcome.

This has been a long time coming.

For many years, I have gazed wondrously at the websites of writers. Their sanctuaries, their shelters, their little places amongst the storm. Every writer should have a place to vent the maelstrom of thoughts running through their head, and what better place to do so than in their own, personal refuge? A place, away from the interfering demands of the clickbaiters, the uninspired, the world-weary and the unambitious. These websites, be they a blog, a portfolio, or merely a place to rant about their frustrations, have always been of great inspiration to me. I have often dreamt of crafting my little slice of cyber shelter, and this is – finally – a place to call my home.

Within these pages, you will find the many thoughts, ideas, stories and ponderings currently taking up real estate in my head. Whatever I may be obsessing over at the time, you are likely to find it highlighted here. I plan to use this space as a way to bring my mind to you, straight from the source, uninhibited and uncensored. I shall be uploading short stories, reviews of media and pop culture curiosities, rants and retrospectives. I promise no defined structure, cohesion or theme to what you will find here; other than that it is coming from I, and I alone.

I truly hope that you enjoy what you read here, because what you read here is me.
